Last May, at its annual developer conference I/O, Google announced the introduction of ‘cross-device sharing’ for Android devices. According to a report by Android Central, Google is working to open two new features of cross-device sharing, transferring calls to different devices l casting and instant hotspot.
According to the report, the next update will enable two new features. Users who will get support for these two services can go to the device settings and see the cross device service option. Both these facilities can be used on Android 11 and later operating system devices. Now beta users of Google Play Services version 24.28.34 can use both call casting and instant hotspot facilities.
How do you know if your phone is cracked or not?
The new feature called transferring calls to different devices call casting will allow users of the same Google account to transfer normal and video calls from one Android device to another. For this you have to select cast button. Apart from this, through the Instant Hotspot facility, the same Google account can automatically start the hotspot and share the Internet with other devices. No password will be required for this. However, to use this facility, Bluetooth and device location must be turned on.
